On August 21-25 of this year, a summer school for foreign students was organized at the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction named after Mirzo Ulugbek. A one-week program was developed by the professors and teachers of the Department of "Mechanical Engineering" and the Department of "Environmental Engineering" of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and together with foreign professors and students, they discussed the problem of flooding in the city of Samarkand during the seasonal rainfall and its solutions, the development of the gas industry in the Republic, the role of gas networks in providing consumers with continuous and uninterrupted gas, problems and their solutions (in the example of the city of Samarkand). Currently, professors and teachers of Osimi Technical University of Tajikistan and a group of students visited Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction named after Mirzo Ulugbek. This project was organized in cooperation with young students of higher educational institutions, students and professors of foreign countries, university researchers and experts of the project organization in order to develop recommendations and proposals aimed at solving the existing problem
The week-long program, together with professors and teachers of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering named after Mirzo Ulugbek, as well as professors and teachers of the Technical University of Tajikistan named after Osimi and a group of students conducted practical work on the problems the city of Samarkand during seasonal precipitation and their solutions, the development of the gas industry in the republic, the role of gas networks in providing consumers with continuous and uninterrupted gas, its problems and their solutions (using the example of the city of Samarkand) Following the results of the summer academic week, the vice-rectors of the university, Sherzod Uzokov and Murodjon Khojabekov, presented certificates and memorable gifts to all foreign professors and students who took part in the summer school.
Instead of informational, this project was organized with the aim of developing recommendations and proposals aimed at solving the existing problem in interaction with university students, students and teachers of foreign countries, university researchers, and project experts and organization.
